FAQ

Do you travel outside of Squamish?

Yes, no travel charge anywhere from Vancouver to Pemberton. That covers Squamish, Whistler, Garibaldi, and everywhere in between. Further afield is always worth asking about.

Can you help us choose a location?

Absolutely. Location scouting is part of every elopement package. I know the corridor well and I'm happy to suggest spots based on the kind of day you're after, whether that's a lakeside ceremony, a backcountry hike, or something a bit off the beaten track.

Do we need to have everything planned out?

Not at all. Some couples arrive with a detailed timeline and some arrive with a vague idea. Either works. We'll have a planning call before the day to figure out the details, and I'll make sure we're both prepared for whatever the day looks like.

Can you be our witness?

Yes, happy to. If it's just the two of you and you need a witness for the legal ceremony, I can step in.

How many photos will we receive?

It varies by package and how eventful the day is, but as a rough guide you can expect somewhere between 50 and 100 edited images per hour of coverage.

Do you shoot film?

I do. Film is available as an add-on to any package for around $100, which covers the cost of two rolls and developing. Worth asking about if you're interested.

Hey, I'm Jacob.

Wedding & Elopement Photographer based in Squamish

I'm a British wedding and elopement photographer based in Squamish, BC. I moved here from the UK a couple of years ago because honestly, the Sea to Sky corridor is too good not to shoot.

I work best with couples who want their day to feel relaxed and real. On a wedding day I tend to hang back and let things unfold naturally. On portrait sessions I'm a bit more hands-on, but it's never stiff or awkward.

The goal is always the same: photos that feel like the day actually felt.
